Run the Paris 2024 Olympic Marathon!
42km Loop Linking Paris and Versailles
Starting at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris
For the first time in history, the general public is invited to run the Olympic Marathon in Paris 2024. The 42km loop will start at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris and take runners through some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and the Palace of Versailles.
The route was unveiled on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at an event at the Paris City Hall. The announcement was made by Paris 2024 President Tony Estanguet, who said that the marathon would be "a unique opportunity for the public to experience the Olympic Games in a new way."
The men's marathon is scheduled for August 10, 2024, at 8:00 AM Paris time (UTC+2). The women's marathon will be held on August 11, 2024, at the same time. Both races will start and finish at the Hôtel de Ville.
Registration for the Paris 2024 Olympic Marathon will open in the spring of 2023. Runners will be selected through a lottery system. For more information, visit the official website of the Marathon Pour Tous.
