FC Atyrau Dominates FC Aktobe, Earns First Win of the Season
FC Atyrau secured its first victory of the 2023 Kazakhstan Premier League season with a commanding 3-0 triumph over FC Aktobe at the Munaishy Stadium.
Atyrau took the lead in the 26th minute through a penalty converted by Maksim Fedin. The hosts doubled their advantage in the 55th minute when Marat Khairullin found the back of the net.
Atyrau sealed the victory in the 89th minute with a goal from substitute Azamat Smagulov. The win lifts Atyrau to eighth place in the standings with three points from three matches.
FC Zhenis Impresses with Away Victory Over FC Ordabasy
FC Zhenis continued its impressive start to the season with a 2-1 away victory over FC Ordabasy at the Kazhymukan Munaitpasov Stadium.
Zhenis took the lead in the 12th minute through a strike from Mikhail Gabyshev. Ordabasy equalized in the 58th minute through a goal from Dias Suleimenov.
However, Zhenis regained the lead in the 72nd minute through a goal from substitute Bakhtiyar Duisenbek. The win moves Zhenis to third place in the standings with seven points from three matches.
FC Kairat, FC Kaisar Drop Points in Draws
FC Kairat and FC Kaisar both dropped points in draws during the weekend's fixtures.
Kairat was held to a 1-1 draw by FC Makhtaral at the Central Stadium. Kairat took the lead in the 35th minute through a goal from Jose Kante, but Makhtaral equalized in the 65th minute through a goal from Yevhen Budnik.
Kaisar played out a 0-0 draw with FC Astana at the Gani Muratbayev Stadium. Despite creating several chances, neither team could find a breakthrough.
The results leave Kairat in fifth place in the standings with five points from three matches, while Kaisar is in seventh place with four points from three matches.
